The place had cobwebs in the windowsills. The menu seemed nice. We ordered the nachos and salsa as an appetizer. The salsa was good and had good flavor but the tortilla chips were not the best, you can get better at the grocery store. I had the shrimp po'boy and was excited to try it. To be honest, the food at Eighteen One was the best part of the night. I went on Valentines day with my girlfriend, and instead of dinner being in the actual restaurant it was in the banquet hall. So basically a huge, boring, empty room with tables throughout it. The food was delicious, though, and the bottle of wine we got was from Idaho and very good. Overall, I think the night would have been much better had it not been in the banquet hall. In my opinion it was a very non-romantic setting.

It was described as having a remoulade sauce on it. In actuality, it came with hot sauce on the shrimp and what I think was their fry sauce. Either way it was not remoulade. Then we tried to order their signature dessert a huge cookie served with ice cream only to be told they were out of cookie dough. The service was slow and they let my water glass go empty not good when eating a hot sauce shrimp sandwich. I feel bad for finding the place.
Football on tv. Quesadilla was great with a couple of beers. Friendly folks.
Great place to stop in for a drink, games on tv, food looks good.
We went on Friday night as my husband wanted Prime Rib, which was really great. I had the scallops which were good but clearly out of a box. As a golf restaurant, it was good for dinner and most likely better for lunch, which we will try, but we were only one dining and really did not need a reservation. There were two others having Happy Hour food. The service was great...but we were the only patron's having dinner at the time. We will return!
