What a charming little restaurant! We started with the endless salad and freshly baked bread, accompanied by their chicken pesto cream. While both the bread and salad were delightful, the chicken pesto cream truly stole the show. Everyone in our group agreed it was something they would definitely order again. View all feedback.
What Dora Schaefer doesn't like about Davinci's:
This is a great spot for traditional Italian cuisine. While the atmosphere is minimal, the service was outstanding. The salad left a bit to be desired, as it was mostly just dressing, but the bread was excellent. Both the chicken parmesan and eggplant parmesan were delicious. They also have a good selection of wines. View all feedback.
Love this place! Great food! Great staff, friendly, efficient. Always busy, especially Saturday night. Make a reservation
GREAT experience. We had a big family group visiting. We went to davincis for a couple drinks after dinner, but were hesitant because the bar seemed smaller and we didnt want to cause a scene. They welcomed us in with open arms, and the young lady that served us was a saint. Was laughing and smiling getting us everything we need even though I know we were louder and a big party. I felt bad, but instead of turning it into negative energy, your employees really just joined us and made us feel so welcomed! Me and my lady will 100% be back after fam leaves town. Appreciate you guys putting up such an amazing atmosphere.
It was OK. Tasted a lot like a Sysco food truck delivery rather than something fresh... people seem to enjoy it, though. The wine was good. The service was excellent, the quality of the food was subpar and questionable. I would go again, but probably just for happy hour. Parking: I went with a broken ankle and had a super hard time getting to the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a side door that's easily accessible but also easily missed.
Last night Da vincis went from being one of our favorite restaurants to never eating there again. We went a few weeks ago and I ordered my favorite, lasagne. It had little to no pasta in it. It was a big bowl of meat sauce. We decided to give it another try last night for our anniversary. We ordered an appetizer. The first thing they brought us was bread and a very oily limp salad. We reminded the waiter we had ordered an appetizer. He was extremely rude and condescending and told us that bread and salad came with dinner. We said, right so shouldn't it be brought out with dinner so the bread was still warm. He refused to take it back. When we got the appetizer it was bruschetta. Frankly it was horrible. We couldn't eat this. We asked him to take it away. The rest of the meal he was curt and rude to us. Most restaurants would take the price of something you couldn't eat off the total but there was zero consideration. Very sad that they have gone downhill so much in the last year. There are plenty of amazing Italian restaurants to choose from in the area.
Share my birthday with the man Leonardo da Vinci and this was definitely the place celebrate!
