Papa Johns Pizza - Eagle River

We've been ordering pizza from this place for quite some time now, and the food is consistently excellent with no issues. However, we've encountered some problems with a few staff members. We typically place our orders through the app and handle the pickup ourselves. Recently, we've started sending our kids in with our card to help them practice going in and paying on their own. Unfortunately, some employees have tricked the kids into giving tips when they asked questions about the payment process. This was quite frustrating for us, and we had to firmly instruct the kids never to tip in those situations. It's disappointing that this happened, especially since we really enjoy their deals, particularly the $8.99 pairing deal, which we use all the time. The app is fantastic for saving points and getting discounts on pizza night. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant, but just be cautious regarding the employees.

I really don't want to see anyone using their phone and texting, then handling my food ingredients. It's quite unappetizing! Also, everyone working should be wearing hats or hairnets, plus gloves. One person didn’t have a hat on, and another wasn’t wearing gloves. Are these standards no longer enforced? These are fundamental rules in the food service industry. Come on!

Always a great stop by especially when/if you shop at ER Walmart! The employees are always nice and the pizza is always fresh! The best part is my name is always different than the last time! Always having to joke around with that everytime I go in!

We ordered pizza about a week ago. My partner is allergic to pineapple and his pizza got some pineapple on it while being prepared. Called and spoke to the only employee on and he was extremely kind and helpful. He fixed the pizza and had it delivered so quickly. The driver was equally fantastic. Everyone makes mistakes, but how a business responds to mistakes really shows how they value their customer base. Will definitely order from here again, they're fantastic.
