Had an early dinner with the family here. Our server Karla was the best we have had in years anywhere. Prompt, helpful, attentive, knows the menu well and made great suggestions, and she was funny what service used to be like before COVID quotefrom my husband. Drinks came quickly and Karla was mindful of when we needed more. Food was made with flavorful spicing andpairings that were sophisticated, fulfilling. Even ate some dessert the five spice donuts are amazing! We will be definitelybe back and hope to sit at Karla M 's table!
On our up North trip, we visited the Kickback grill twice. The wheat beers from Tribute we're excellent, my wife enjoying both the mango and blueberry. I tuna was garnished with a neat flavor combo that I really enjoyed. It was spicy. I had the Reubenthe next time, and it was really excellent. The beef was very flavorful, three slices of rye weren't too powerful, and thekraut was just sweet enough. Great job!
Delish food, large portions, very nice employees... but no reservations excepted. We had a large group of 25 arrived 4:45 pm on a Wednesday. Our wait was 1.5 hrs+ even tho we had agreed to split up. Ended up all at one large table, service was quickand food delivered almost together and fast. On a smaller scale it would be even better.
The noise level was quite high, making it difficult to hear the person next to me. The food was decent but a bit on the expensive side. The server was friendly, and we had no problems during our visit. There were several large groups dining, and our own group was fairly sizable. Unfortunately, the soup didn’t taste homemade – it reminded me of a powdered mix you just add water to. Overall, I dined in for dinner.
