The family was very kind and came from San Antonio. We ordered the green chicken tamales and they were delicious! The prices were fair as well. Thank you for such a fantastic meal. View all feedback.

The refried beans with chorizo were expertly done, the potato and egg taco was quite tasty and my favorite. The barbacoa had a bit too much fat, but the flavor was still good. The chorizo and egg taco had a choice of corn or flour tortillas, I picked corn and it was the perfect thickness. The complimentary green salsa was delicious. My only feedback is that I wish there was an option to customize my taco, as I wanted to try the potato with salsa but also add egg, which was not possible.

Awesome! The barbacoa is outstanding, along with delicious tamales and menudo served every Saturday and Sunday. Don't miss out on trying them!
The restaurant has a friendly staff and a great location right off the Main Street with plenty of parking. During my visit, I tried various breakfast tacos. The bean with chorizo was made with canned beans, while the papa con huevo taco was really good and my favorite. The barbacoa taco had a bit of grease on the paper bag, which could be a good or bad thing depending on your preference, but the flavor was good. The chorizo con huevo taco was also good. I had the option of corn or flour tortillas, and I chose corn, which was perfect - not too thick, allowing me to fully enjoy the taste of the food. The coffee was complimentary and the green salsa was really good. My only feedback is that I wished I could have customized my taco, as I wanted to try the papa a la mexicana with added eggs, but that wasn't an option.
I ordered the #6 burger and it was one of the best burgers I have ever had. The combination of the bun, patty, shredded lettuce, and homemade sauce was amazing. Even the pickled jalapeños were delicious. Everything exceeded my expectations. I also highly recommend trying the limeade. I wish we had a place like this in San Antonio. As someone who has been in the restaurant industry for a long time, I appreciate when people get food right.
