Sage Steakhouse - Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel

It was an awful experience. We had made a reservation, but we were never informed that the regular menu wouldn't be available. They only offered two dishes—pasta and more pasta. It was an all-you-can-eat situation, but it was just disgusting.

The food was outstanding, but the service left much to be desired. When you pay that kind of money for an entrée, you expect top-notch service. Unfortunately, our waiter lacked knowledge about the wines and didn't offer any recommendations. Additionally, he was quite slow, even though he was only responsible for three tables. It took about five minutes before anyone came to assist us. The restaurant is located right next to the casino, resulting in a noisy atmosphere that was not the romantic setting we had hoped for.

Jorge was an excellent waiter and the food was very good!

Excellent service, food and atmosphere. We each ordered a steak (ribeye fillet). They were cooked to perfection melted in your mouth. The blue wedge salad was a perfect complement to the steak.

It's Eagle Pass TX folks! Don't get your hopes up, but come hungry. Large portions. Quality food. The short ribs over mashed potato are great and enough for two!
