Spent New Year's Eve at this casino. We didn't stay in the hotel. We had a great time. This night must be the busiest of the year for them. The casino was packed even at 2 am when we left. They did a great job handling the crowd. The fireworks were amazing. I was very impressed. They had cash giveaways and the prize of the night was a Ford F150 Raptor! The only downside was lines at the promotions kiosks and restaurants. I recommend this casino for fun anytime of the year!
My husband and I go here often to play slots. They mostly have BINGO slot machines (or Class II machines). The casino does a ton of give aways ranging from free play, to cash, to vehicles. Give away days can be pretty busy. The food in the food court area is maybe a little below average. There is also 4 other places in the hotel/casino to get food, an iHop, a bar/grill, an upscale restaurant, and another food court type of place that serves mexican food. My husband and I usually eat at the grill/bar. Servings are big enough to split and delicious, and honestly, a better deal than the food court. We've never stayed at the hotel, so I can't speak to that, but I will say that I don't feel like the club perks are that great in terms of room discounts. Granted, we're in a lower bracket because we only come a few times a month, if that. Overall we like coming here, and will probably continue to come here in our spare time. Very safe, lots of security.
I got done playing a slot machine and security walks up to me and accuses me of taking vouchers out of the machines which wasn’t true because I was playing them even if it was only 1 spin. Then he confiscated my voucher which was $5 and some change, which none of that matters. Whether it was a penny or a thousand dollars, This Is Extortion! Even what he claims is true they had signs around that said “Not responsible for lost vouchers” You would have to be a real asshole to walk up to a random person and accuse them of stealing and steal their voucher. The security guards name is Jose if I remember correctly. Kickapoo is lucky I may not press charges but it doesn’t change that any of this is wrong. Despite of me being a valuable player here, I still would rather go to Atlantic City or Vegas or anywhere than this selfish and stingy casino.
