Casino Cafe Mexican Buffet - Eagle Pass

Let’s Talk about it.. Well first I heard the morning buffet was really good. Unfortunately waking up late we barely missed it and caught the lunch menu instead. And the food was decent..the Spanish rice was kinda dry, the beans tasted like they came from a can lacked flavor, chicken fajita was over cooked so it was also dry. I tried the cheese enchiladas they were okay something you’ll find at potluck nothing special. Tostadas were pretty good better than the enchiladas. Their beef caldo was probably the best thing they had in my opinion broth was very rich and flavorful meat was super tender. Highly recommended item. The salad/fruit bar was typical wasn’t a very wide variety of things watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple the usual stuff you’ll find. All in all I think the casino is okay maybe I caught them on a off day perhaps it’s typical slow when we came in I’m not sure but I will say I’ll come back again and try the breakfast buffet hopefully they’re on their A game. Stay tuned for an update. Vegetarian options: Decent size salad bar has all basic salad items. And few good fruits. Parking: It’s nice size parking lot. Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and the staff is very accommodating with certain requests.

Pleasantly surprised. The friend that we visited asked to go there. I found the place clean. There was a variety of food and it was fresh and delicious. Recommend you visit. Dietary restrictions: I was able to find a variety of foods that I can eat.

The quality and taste has vastly improved. Well worth the price of admission.
