The fried dumplings were about the best I have ever had, and I had them all over Japan. And they are reasonably priced. The lo mein was very good... but I paid for extra broccoli and it was pretty scanty so I am giving it a four rather than a five. I don't expect to be in Greencastle again, but would certainly stop in again. View all feedback.
What Frank D doesn't like about Hong Kong Chinese:
Today I ordered Crab Rangoons, a quart of Chicken Fried Rice, and a quart of Beef Lo Mein. The Crab Rangoons were fantastic and the highlight of the meal. The Chicken Fried Rice was not good. The rice itself had very little flavor and was a little on the dry side while the chicken in it was awful and had a gross spongy texture to it that made it seem like something other than chicken. Love their food. Always hot and the staff are very friendly.
The fried dumplings were some of the best I've ever tasted, and I've tried them all over Japan. They are also reasonably priced. The lo mein was quite good as well, but I ordered extra broccoli and was disappointed with the small amount I received, which is why I’m giving the restaurant a four instead of a five. Although I probably won't be back in Greencastle, I'd definitely stop by again if I had the chance.
Fantastic dining experience! I’ve been a loyal customer for years. The staff is amazing, and the food is outstanding!
The lunch special was excellent and served very quickly. However, the chicken wings tasted like they may have been reheated from earlier or possibly even from the day before. On the other hand, the orange chicken and General Tso's were quite good!
