This restaurant is our go-to spot for takeout on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. I usually stick to my usual General Tso's dish, but this time I decided to try something different. My wife always orders the Chicken with mixed vegetables in a brown sauce, and this time I opted for a chicken dish with honey ginger sauce and dumplings (which were actually gyoza, but more on that later). My wife's dish was as delicious as always, but my ginger dish was absolutely fantastic. It reminded me of sweet and sour chicken, but the sauce really made it stand out. The flavor of the fresh ginger was noticeable and the sauce was sweet without being overly so. I even used the leftover sauce for a Japanese-style grill dish a few days later and it worked perfectly. However, the appetizer of dumplings was not what we expected. They were actually gyoza (potstickers), which are not the traditional thicker dough dumplings we were used to, but they were still tasty.
