City Cellar Wine Grill - e Air

This was our first time here. This should have been a great experience before going to the Kravis Center for a show however they didn't seem prepared for a Saturday night. When we first arrived we were told the only open tables were outside even though they were seating walk-ins and we had a reservation for weeks. Then once sat the service was lacking. No refills on water, barely enough time to eat before the show (we left ourselves more than 90 minutes to eat.)The food was delicious but knives would have been helpful to cut the steak and pork chop. We tried to flag down one the managers but she refused to come to our table. Her only “help”was to yell at our server. Not sure the value is there to go back again.

We went to celebrate our one year anniversary. The waiter, although super nice, seemed very nervous/scatterbrained and apologized because he got a lot of tables seated at the same time. Totally understandable. The food was great, the service was subpar. I don't know if it was because he was overwhelmed or not.

Food was good. Service needed a slight upgrade. While drinks came quickly, bread had to be requested twice and large meat entree was not served with a steak knife. Maybe a little more attention to details from the servers.

Went to dinner with the family and the menu had options for everyone! Waiter was great so overall service and atmosphere was welcoming. Had a delicious dinner and all left with smiles.

Great dinner although I ordered one soup and was served another. I was very hungry so I didn't even mention it. City Cellar is consistently good so I make sure to visit whenever I'm in town.
