Very good burger and fries in an attractive pub atmosphere right along the Fox River. A lot of regulars seem to be there. Service was good. Restroom was clean. Off street parking is available. View all feedback.
What Carlos Vences doesn't like about Rosie O'hare's Public House:
It was a great a night until we got here. By FAR the rudest staff we’ve ever encountered. Disrespectful and ill-mannered for absolutely no reason. Some of us actually thought it was one of those places where they’re purposely rude to you but quickly realized they were simply being distasteful. They had no manners. I almost had to think twice before trying to order a drink because it felt like I was bothering them. Th... View all feedback.
Nice place. Very ornate. The inscription on the outside of the building says, Let all who enter ye pub drink to a United Ireland. Great service. Jul 2024: We returned and had an outside table. Beer selection is reasonably good. Food quality is ok, just not great. Example: I ordered a reuben sandwich. The waitress asked if I wanted sauerkraut or not. I asked for sauerkraut. It was a reuben. When delivered, no sauerkraut. I had to ask the waitress to bring out sauerkraut. Why did this happen? Still a great destination for cyclists in the area
This is the best environment, they have the best view of the river and great food, the employees are very welcoming. Definitely recommend coming here and ask for bella she is the best!!
Always friendly faces and good food and drinks. Nice atmosphere and always a great time I definitely recommend!
Went to the pig roast Horrible!!! Cold undercooked pork.Server knows nothing. Asking me to pass the drinks. Asking me to pass the drinks to everybody. We were sitting at a table. I'm not the waitress. They're beer they're hard.Selser's and cocktails were horrible. We did not drink them.Unpleasant and rude!!! Also Overpriced!!!
I 'd say it 's a cheers bar , neighborhood spot for a beer and a seat by the river. Crowded Thursday thru the weekend, but upstairs is a space for reservations (group events). It was nice to have the space for our group. Food seemed like it was the standard Sysco order (fried ravioli, wings, mini tacos, bruschetta that was loaded with sugar, chips and salsa)
