A friend from Michigan always wants to visit Venice, and my daughter from Tennessee also wishes to go to Venice when she's home. The Easter buffet has the potential to become an Easter tradition for us. I finally had the opportunity to try some desserts, which I usually miss out on because I'm too full after our meals there in the past. We enjoyed the delicious lemon veal piccata, gnocchi, and steak. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Venice Italian Steakhouse:
This is my third time visiting Venice, and while the food was fantastic during my first two visits, this time I was a bit disappointed. The steak was just okay and lacked seasoning. Additionally, I had to send my dish back because it was too salty. View all feedback.

Normally a quiet place to dine in nice atmosphere ... Good food nice staff
The uncussioned metal chairs are probably good for a picnic but not for 'fine ' dinning.
Main meals, chicken parmesan, were very good. However, the appetizer, fried zucchini with tomato and mozzarella had no flavor. I make my own caprese, and the tomatoes are market flavorful. The mozzarella is creamy white and has flavor. Venice's tomato and mozzarella had no flavor, and the zucchini's flavor was that of grease in the fried crust around the zucchinis--very surprisingly disappointing. The salad was supposed to be balsamic vinaigrette--it was very tart, and there was no reddish color depicting that the dressing had any balsamic in it. I expected a nice reduction of balsamic dressing for this type of restaurant. Again, the tomato wedge had no flavor. Finally, the lettuce was simply iceberg. I realize this was a side salad, but for such a restaurant, I would have thought mixed baby lettuce with romaine would be served. Finally, again the salmon was very good, and my husband's chicken parmesan was good; however, my garlic parmesan potatoes were lukewarm, and the mushrooms with onions were loaded more with onions than the mushrooms. There are too many restaurants in the area that serve an entire meal that is flavorful to pay for a lovely atmosphere that Venice does have but for a meal that is not delightful from beginning to end.
The food was nothing spectacular. Our server was nice but was missing in action often. It took awhile for us to get the bill and the restaurant was not packed. The bruschetta was not great. They used the same bread for the bruschetta as they used for the appetizer bread. I had the crab ravioli which was good but the creamed spinach was subpar. I probably would not go back to this restaurant for Italian food.
