This fantastic store is located next to the equally fantastic and large vegan friendly craft beer bar. It is perfect for stocking up on spices and seasonings that are only needed in small quantities for specific recipes. I went to the weigh shop today. I have been trying to go plastic free for a year and it is hard work. I went vegan 3 months ago and that doubles the work. The weigh shop brings the two together. We are not there yet but the weigh shop is a look into the future. It is a painless way of doing your bit to not increase global warming. They have an amazing range of vegan sweets and chocolates of all the confectionery loves out there ,as well as reusable pads ,soaps ,and cooking ingredients. Fantastic shop located next to the wonderful and very vegan-friendly craft beer shop Fram Ferment. Perfect for purchasing small amounts of herbs and spices for specific recipes. We bought Spanish paprika, garam masala, ground almonds, vegan fudge, vegan chocolate, and green lentils. We now know where to go when we run out of anything. The store also offers a variety of ethical personal care products and household refilling stations.
I visited The Swamp today and it was a great experience. I have been working towards living plastic-free for a year now, and it has been challenging. Switching to a vegan diet three months ago added to the difficulty, but The Swamp seamlessly combines both lifestyles. The owner is forward-thinking and is making a positive impact on the environment by reducing global warming. I highly recommend supporting this restaurant. (Reviewed on September 7, 2021)
