The best Thai restaurant we've experienced in Durham! Every time we order dinner from there, we are never disappointed. Everything from start to finish is exceptional. We are especially thrilled with the curry—it's the best flavor we've ever had. The taste, portion sizes, and quality of the ingredients are all excellent. And the view of the cathedral is beautiful. the service was slow, eating was good except the four whole chili that I was not able to eat the meal as it was hot. we are very used to hot food, but that was exaggerated! the whole other food was very good. the personal could have been more helpful. View all feedback.

Amazing eating! it is a small place, but the taste is at point. we had the thai river platter to start and it was great with a beautiful selection. mins were the Massemann-Curry and Orange-Deck. both were great and we couldn't finish it. we'll be back soon! thanks for the great meal
Food’s a lil pricey for Asian food standards, and perhaps not as authentic, but it’s still delicious and has got a vibey atmosphere.
Thai River is superbly situated in the heart of Durham with great views of the river, Castle and Cathederal. We celebrated our anniversary there and the food was top notch supported by attentive and prompt service from the waiting staff. We love Thai food and will definitely be returning soon!
We went here for our anniversary and the food was absolutely amazing. We got the platter to start and some chicken toast. The platter was huge and easily enough for two. We also got the best of 3 and a chicken teriyaki for the mains and they were both absolutely lush. We'll definitely be going here again!
