What Novocastrian doesn't like about Dragon Chinese:
Was excited to try this, based on reviews, but was disappointed. Got prawn toast- tasted of nothing, certainly not prawn. Also got house special chow mein- noodles were bland and for some reason, the cook had slopped a big portion of gravy/ brown sauce on the top. Won't be ordering from here again. This is one of the best Chinese takeaway around bowburn area.i tried some others even in durham and one of them I put the food right in one, thetest was terrible, but all the years I got only once in here test was not as good as that every time perfect
I was told my meal would be ready for collection in 10 mins, 30 minutes later it was ready. When I got home I was annoyed about the wait, but when I tasted the dish it was delicious. I had chicken chow mein. The wait was due to so many delivery orders, but while I waited in the shop the receptionist was still telling customers that their meals would be ready for collection in 10 mins!
A little pricey but food was tasty and hot, nice friendly staff would order agaun
Prices ok . Food could be better . King prawn balls could be used as cricket balls they were that hard.
