I went to this location for nearly a week straight. James (the manager) was friendly, quick and welcoming. The bowls were awesome, fresh and consistent. You get a large serving for a great price and you can build your own bowl. Parking can be tricky but it never stopped me. They also have a rewards program (ask for the card). View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Spot:
I ordered a large 50/50 bowl and noticed that it was only filled 3/4 of the way. I didn't realize until I got home. Despite my love for this restaurant, I was disappointed by the portion size of my bowl today. View all feedback.
So delicious. Kind of addicted to these bowls. The portions are a bit small especially with the toppings you’re paying for and I wish they’d fill up the bowls fuller with the base but honestly it’s still worth it
Friendly staff and amazing acai bowls. I had a few before I went here, but ever since, my wife and I are addicted. They offer 4 different base berries to start a smoothie or bowl. I like a 50/50 of acai and pitaya personally. The fruit is fresh, the toppings are varied, can't say enough good things really. Maybe a once a week thing because they aren't cheap, but they're worth it!
Shows the best açaí dishes at unh. a bit expensive, but worth it.

The acai bowls are soooo tasty and so healthy. The Spot is a great addition to Durham. I'd like to have one every morning, with my antioxidant infused CoffVee. What a great way to start the day.
