Contribute FeedbackRustic kind of place, located on the D117 roughly halfway between Castelnau-Durban and Le Bastide-de-Serou. Only open May to October. Warm welcome for our party of 4. Informal setting, semi open-air, lots of locals dining there, which we took to be a good sign. Rather a short menu but all local produce. Simple, hearty food, generous portions. They specialise in duck (they raise their own) and we enjoyed pretty much everything to do with ducks, including the foie-gras, pate and confit, though the chips fried in duck fat were less good, soft and rather overcooked the night we were there. As well as duck and variations on duck, various home-made burgers available (duck, beef or vegeburger) and our friend enjoyed his. Good selection of desserts including fresh-cooked crepes with a variety of toppings. Good local wine list at reasonable prices. Home-made liqueurs. Madame speaks English. Service is prompt and cheerful. Plenty of parking. Happy to recommend.
