This restaurant is a fantastic spot to indulge in delicious food, the only downside being that there was no air conditioning! The dining experience was worth the money and the food was truly delicious. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Wok Box:
Had the pork belly with noodles and the cashew and sundried chilli chicken noodles. Wasn't bad but I won't be rushing back anytime soon. The cashew option from Simply Asia is way more flavourful. The best part of the visit was the friendly waiter Gift. View all feedback.

Relaxed atmosphere with benches for seating. Neat. Limited menu options. I found the food to be very salty. Veges were fresh and very crunchy. The spicy prawn friend rice was the best thing on the menu. Its quite spicy. Overall mediocre experience.
Sad to say. Our food wasn't good. The wantons dry and fried in ol oil as were the spring rolls just cabbage) chicken wings dry and old, sauce gloopy. Worst of all an Asian woman shrieking at the staff the whole time. Waiter was good but we could see he was embarrassed. BTW has been our fav restaurant for many years. 1st bad meal
Crispy wontons were horrible. Had a sour smell and chicken was bland. Definitely not worth R72. The stir fry also was not the greatest. Definitely not worth R96. Very disappointed
Hardened to give 4 stars due to polystyrene containers, plastic straws and single-use chopsticks, but the food and service was too good for it. Huge part of egg roasted rice with fresh crisp vegetables. The vegetable soup was fresh and really meets the place. Not a large selection of alcohol, but still good choices. They have Jack Black and CBC on Tap as well as Castle and Black Label. The seating area is comfortable and spacious, but there were no visible wheelchair access points that were a little disappointing. Menu is also a poster that was quite cool and also a little wasted. Many carnivorous options, but the vegetarian choices, although less, were sufficient. All in all, good value for money. Worth a visit.
