good ambiente, excellent place to bring family and friends. esp those who long for curries. we had an amazing time and experience with delicious food from bunny chow, to lamb curry, to biryani and the first time ever chip chow! The service is efficient and friendly, and the prices are quite reasonable. It's situated in a vibrant, trendy neighborhood.
The food here is incredibly flavorful and has a nice kick to it. The chicken samosas are among the best I've ever tasted. Although I would have appreciated some naan on the side, the Durban curry was absolutely fantastic!
The House of Curries, situated on Florida Street, offers a variety of Indian dishes but is particularly renowned for its rotis. I ordered a regular-sized vegetable roti, and it was more than sufficient for one person. I've heard that the lamb rotis are especially delicious. It's also a fantastic spot to unwind with a cold beer of your choice.
Never had a complaint here. The curry is some of the best I’ve had around — big portions and always delicious. Certainly no shortage of flavour. A nice casual place for a beer and a bunny.
My boyfriend and I shared the large chicken, chip and cheese roti wrap and to say it's value for money would be an understatement. It is huge! The taste of it is average, nothing spectacular but for the quantity and price, I'm really impressed. We could barely move after finishing it, 3 people could share it!
