Amsterdam Grill - Durban

Excellent service, friendly staff, and an amazing atmosphere! It's the perfect place to kick off your evening. We arrived a bit late, so the kitchen was already closed, but we are definitely planning to return.

Delicious food, stunning atmosphere, and the ideal spot to kick off your Thursday night. It strikes the perfect balance between relaxation and energy to get the party started.

The baskets are a good size and taste great. The staff is always friendly, and the service is excellent. It's a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a drink as well.

I came here meeting up with a friend and she had suggested the place, I'm glad she did.<br/ <br/ 2 words: Comfort. Food. Big juicy burgers, sauce everywhere, home made fries are hearty with tasty spices and the service is sharp and the staff well prepared. <br/ <br/ Had a great time here sadly no pictures I was too busy enjoying the food.

Amsterdam is one of those watering holes that always has your back. <br/ <br/ Whenever I go back home to visit, there it is with an extensive menu of interesting (cheap cocktails and shots to share with your friends. <br/ The deck is ideal for Durban weather and Davenport Rd provides a steady flow of entertainment to watch. The last few times I have tried their nachos and can honestly say they are the best I have ever had. (Sorry, Fat Cactus! <br/ <br/ They use authentic nacho chips and layer them with a savory tomato paste before adding a duvet of melted cheese. The quantity of cheese on these nachos is enough to forgive the often weak service and irritating live music.<br/ <br/ And of course, they give you little silver tubs of guac and sour cream to go HAM with.<br/ <br/ Any time you 're in Durbs and need to experience the 'chill ' everyone knows it for, Amsterdam is great for a relaxing afternoon and then maybe a raucous evening.
