View all feedback.
This is a good village restaurant with bar. There is seating inside and out and ample parking in the redesigned car park behind the Mairie, which is next door. The lunchtime set menu represents terrific value for money, with good local wine included. Service is...quick and pleasant. It fully deserves is growing reputation.
Feels like coming home, the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.. for anyone with children, without or in a group of friends.. I would definitely recommend.!
Camped as usual in the village of Touzac, and borrowed a cycle to ride the old railway line to Duravel with the clear intention of using the bar/restaurant to meet old friends and for my evening meals over a three day period. The place has seen...both a change of names and staff/owners over the nearly twenty years I've visited, but since the new owners took over a few years ago,it's become the hub of the village once again. A good selection of beer, wine etc if your'e only stopping for a drink and a more than satisfactory choice of food available from the menu, which can be eaten within the restaurant or on the quiet terrace at the rear. I had no complaints with the food, nor service. As shown in the photo, there is a pavement at the front where there is seating and tables, finished off by that welcome canopy in the hot weather. Run by couple Natalie and Mica, you'll find a friendly welcome in a traditional French establishment.
We took the lunch menu for EUR which included a soup, the salad and charcuterie buffet and a leg of a canard with french fries. I am not so keen on soup, but it was ok. The buffet was really nice with enough choice....The canard was really excellent. We didn’t spoile it with the morille sauce. No need to hide the flavor of the meat. (The French fries were soft, we left most of them although the taste wasn’t wrong). We skipped the desert it was just too much food for us. liter red wine and coffee included in the menu. Nothing wrong with the red wine, assume local. Friendly people. All in all, good place to have lunch. Value for you money.
We were a large group, great ambiance and very friendly staff. Four course meal. Soup, starter, main, desert with bread, wine and coffee. Very big portions. Well under All served very efficiently. recommended for lunch
