Maid-rite - Durant

A trip into Iowa used to mean a trip to a Maid Rite when I was a child. Trip down memory lane and this one was a tasty one. Both my husband and daughter had the special with fries and cheese sauce heaped on it and they thought it was great!

Nice laid back old time dinner atmosphere. Order same thing every time which is really good (Maid Rights!)So haven't had any of the other food but I'm pretty sure it's all good judging from the amount of cars in the lot.

Two. Times iv made the trip to this maid when it shows that it closed twice. Please update your hours.

I stayed there about 1/2 a dozen times on my trips. I love the cake especially with ice cream up. I want to stop her two times in September. I love small places. I would recommend it to anyone who is in the area to stop.

Jeff's market occupancy, which is the ride in operation AWESOME! The menu is published on FB and on its sign. It is usually a choice of 2 participants. No calls ahead, drag up to say how many of every dinner, pay, get your order and drive out. Easy food, quick dinner. Be ready to wait in the drive thru line.
