Blue River Valley Winery - Durant

My husband and I had our first visit to Choctaw yesterday, and what a hidden gem it is! The wine selection was fantastic. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, making sure we felt taken care of. We sampled over 12 different wines, each one delightful, with unique aromas and a refreshing taste. We even ended up purchasing a full case! It was a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend to everyone. We will definitely be back!

This is probably one of the most serene and delightful wineries we have visited to date. The owners are incredibly gracious and welcoming, and their wines are some of the best we've tasted—especially the blackberry and elderberry varietals, which my wife and I loved! I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem to anyone traveling through the area, or to anyone looking to unwind and enjoy time with a partner or friends. I’d give it a 10 out of 5 if I could! Though it’s a 1.5-hour drive from our home, I would happily make the trip again for the chance to enjoy this wonderful place once more. P.S. The dogs and donkeys there are also very friendly!

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! My husband and I discovered it during a weekend trip near Durant, OK. Although I'm not a wine enthusiast, I knew my husband enjoyed it. The customer service was outstanding. I had the chance to speak with one of the owners, W.H., who shared insights into his wine-making process and how he transitioned to brewing beer. We sampled several wines: the Tickle Me Peach Chardonnay, Strawberry Blonde White Zinfandel, Summer Breeze Watermelon White Merlot, and Pleasant Hill Green Apple Riesling. We ended up purchasing two bottles of each of the first three because the peach was so delicious that my husband added a third! The flavors and aromas were excellent—just fantastic! This place is definitely a must-visit!

Great place to stop and taste some great Oklahoma wine. Just two minutes from the highway. Hillary is owner and simply go pleasure to sit down and taste wine.

They have a very polite and helpful staff with a wonderful selection of wine and cheese.
