The baked goods are fantastic. However the rest of the food here is bland, and expensive compared to what you can get down the street. The coffee isn’t cheap nor is if tasty either plus they charge $3 for a shot of espresso! Definitely just stick to the cupcakes and whatever else has enough sugar, and calories to kill Willy Wonka, and his family of Oompa Loompas.Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a ramp. What Tabitha Pinkham doesn't like about Mince Mercantile:
I sure do hate rating a local business so low because I would love to support but I just have nothing good to say. The cakes are very dry. I wish they were good because I love sweets. The only good thing is that it’s the one place to get “small goods” in DuPont. Thankfully on this review I have free will to say as I truly believe without the owner acting as a victim like she frequently does on pages. If you question... View all feedback.
Placed an order online. Ordered an ice chai tea latte but got cold brew instead. The avocado toast isn’t even toasted.
Beware going in hungry! I was going to have a sensible lunch but ended up with a pot pie and slice of cake delicious! I've typically gotten their sandwiches (apple fig is a favorite) but will be back to try other daily specials. The pot pie was incredibly creamy. The atmosphere is comfortable to sit and rest a moment before heading on your way.Parking: There are just a few parking spaces right in front but plenty of parallel street parking nearby in either side as well as a gravel lot around the corner.
Cute little store, I went for an event hosted there, the sandwich and salad were pretty good. I like the set up and decorations of the store.

We tried this place for breakfast while staying at a hotel nearby. What a great find, very cute and unique. I loved the avocado toast (no cheese) and my husband enjoyed his steak and eggs breakfast bowl. Had the mini apple pie, it was pretty good as well. They have a large beer and drinks selection.
