I've had people walk in the door with 5 minutes left to walking in after closing time. No matter what time you walked in that door you got the best service possible. With that being said you can look at a wait staff and know what kind of service you are going to get when you walk in close to closing time. My mother and I went to the Cookie Jar tonight with 25 to 30 minutes to closing. They seated us. Our waitress came to get our drink order and we ordered sweet tea. They waitress asked if they had any sweet tea left and the other waitress said the poured it out. I know you can use sweet tea the next day, but they can't or wouldn't make any more. So we got up and left.

They were rude and openly discussed customer complaints behind the counter, which created a very unwelcoming atmosphere. Additionally, the so-called large cupcakes were dry and overpriced. Best of luck with your restaurant, but we won’t be back and would advise others to think twice before visiting.

Waitress was very nice... read more First time there for a late lunch it is out in the country. Nice place has a massive cookie jar collection around the upper wall inside. Waitress was very nice took care of us. Rolls cornbread are brought upon seating. Got the grilled meatloafwhich still tasted the same but had the charred edges. The breaded chicken was good as well. The sides were good and all wasgood size portions. As for the deserts they was plenty to pick from. We got cupcakes to go tasted great. It appears to be aplace that you will have a wait to get seated but plan you trip it will be worth it.
