What Shannon Khan doesn't like about Tchin Tchin:
We order 2 chocolate pancakes, 2 perriers. The waitress arrives and the....DECEPTION!!!At first glance I understand immediately that it will have to be courageous to swallow this!2 poor industrial pancakes, gelatinous with 2 rikikis plastic chocolate pots (genre pot de sauce dans les friteries).bref,is it so complicated that it has fault a house crêpe?! it is a shame. Good location to see if you are in our out. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. My Aperol spray came with a small bag of jelly beans; simple, but a nice touch. The food looked delicious, but when we had eaten earlier, I let myself down for crepe... delicious with strawberries and my husband had ice cream! Although the Barman was 10:30, he did not hit an eyelid on our request (we used 'd to say 'kitchen is closed'. Had a nice evening and our only regret was that we had not found it earlier. Excellent.
Our ferry from Great Britain arrived late, so most restaurants on the coast of Dunkirk were closed. We stumbled over this bar when they go advertising posters with drinks, so we ordered some beers and a few plates, a meat, a cheese. Wow, what a choice! Beautiful hunks of fresh bread, much cooked meat and pates and good local cheeses. We fought to eat two plates between 3 of us, and we were hungry! The bar seems popular with locals who dive with their friends, families and dogs for a quick drink or coffee, so is busy during the day. Sometimes it's hard to eat outside the normal meal hours in France, but this bar comes to salvation. Thank you.
Pleasant atmosphere in all seasons. good music and nice service. great choice of drinks. Dogs are welcome.
Our ferry from the UK arrived late, so most of the restaurants along the seafront at Dunkirk had shut. Lovely hunks of fresh bread, lots of cured meats and pates and good local cheeses.
