However... read more A few weeks ago, my family and I dined here for dinner. The location is great, and the food was excellent, making it a perfect spot to catch a big game. However, I found the female waitstaff to be somewhat unfriendly and lacking in basic manners. Additionally, the restroom facilities could use some improvement.

We had two fresh cod and chips and tw... read more We a family of 4 walked upon The Anchor while visiting Dungarvan. As it looked busy we decided to have lunch. Glad we did. We had two fresh cod and chips and two burgers and chips. The fish was fresh and tasty. The burgers were Devine and portions large. Highly recommend The Anchor for food if you in Dungarvan. Lovely clean pub in a beautiful setting overlooking the harbour.
