We had two fresh cod and chips and tw... read more We a family of 4 walked upon The Anchor while visiting Dungarvan. As it looked busy we decided to have lunch. Glad we did. We had two fresh cod and chips and two burgers and chips. The fish was fresh and tasty. The burgers were Devine and portions large. Highly recommend The Anchor for food if you in Dungarvan. Lovely clean pub in a beautiful setting overlooking the harbour.

Sitting outside in the lovely weather, we didn’t see the interior, but the outdoor seating was perfect. My husband couldn’t stop praising the Seafood Chowder, calling it one of the best he’s ever tasted. I opted for the seabass, which was absolutely delicious. Our waiter’s lively personality made the meal even more enjoyable. It was a fantastic way to kick off our short staycation!

The serv... read more We enjoyed a late light lunch at Anchor and were thoroughly impressed. Both of us chose salads and garlic bread, and everything was absolutely perfect. The service was impeccable and friendly, with no delays at any point. The pre-drinks—Guinness, Prosecco, and a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc—were all excellent. We will definitely return!
