Landi's - Dungannon

The price of £10.90 is too high. Despite receiving a large portion of chips, it is still overpriced. The prices are similar to those in Belfast, which is not good.

If you refer to my previous review, you will see that my family has a tradition of coming to this restaurant every Christmas Eve. However, last year when we arrived at 3:30pm, we were informed that they were closing and couldn't accommodate us. This year, we decided to call ahead to confirm the hours. When we called at noon, we were told that they were open until 5pm but we could only dine in at 4:30pm. I dropped off my wife and kids at the door at 4:10pm and went to park the car. But when they arrived, they were told it was only for take-out. When my wife mentioned that we had called ahead, the staff member rudely explained that they were closing early because it was quiet and they were tired from working all day. My wife, who is a nurse and had rushed to get there by 4:10pm, was very disappointed. I'm not sure if this staff member is the owner, but regardless, I would suggest some customer service training for the staff and a reminder about the spirit of Christmas and goodwill. We decided to go to The Rainbow Cafe in Aughnacloy instead, where we had a wonderful meal and will be leaving them a positive review. It seems there may be a pattern of rude staff based on the few reviews of Landis, which is a shame.

I come here every Friday after work. The food is delicious, but the staff behind the counter can be quite rude. However, I continue to return for the quality of the food.
