Ha Long Bay Bistro - Dunedin

Worst restaurant i think i have ever been to. The place closes at 9 as stated on all advertisements but we were told they close at 8:30 when we sat at 8 and were rushed to order in five minutes. We rushed to eat, had to chase down the waitress for a to go box, the music shut off at 8:30, and after they chased us down in the parking lot for not leaving a tip, which is rare for us as we always leave a tip. Overall the service, food quality, and hospitality was awful.

So, we went for lunch today for the first time and won't be back . Completely forgettable except my wife's Mongolian Beef was so salty she almost couldn't eat it. My General Tso's was meh at best.The food came quickly but no one checked on us after it was brought out. If the waiter had cared to look she would have known we were finished and wanted the check. I had to track her down though.

Every time i go there and try different meals they are always delicious

CHECK YOUR BILL before you pay Poor Service This place is sketchy. First of all, the price on the menu is not the price that shows on the bill breakdown. They increased the price by $1 or $2 on each dish on the bill. There is also a 20% mandatory TIPS included on the bill. The merchant and customer copy of the bill will not show you the breakdown. So you will not know tips is included, you may end up giving more tips even though it is included. When we asked for the breakdown, the male cashier was not happy and showed bad attitude.I don't usually leave bad reviews easily, but this place got me MAD. This will be my last time dining here.
