All GoodWe had dinner with friends at Caracara. Everything was good. The server was pleasant and helpful, the restaurant was comfortable, and prices were reasonable. The Tandoori Cauliflower Pakora appetizer was delicious. The rice bowl with crispy chicken was very nice. I had the Peruvian Poutine which was on the heavy side. I think that the cheese curds would have been better if not fried so the meal wouldn’t be qu... View all feedback.
What Luciana Jones doesn't like about Caracara Restaurant And Bar:
We are from Dunedin and decided to try all restaurants in Dunedin. We were shocked how expensive the restaurant is. The portions are super small, I ordered the rice bowl with tempura shrimp and I only had three pieces. My husband ordered the fajitas and in the menu it stated market price; the market price was 30+ dollars for 9 tiny pieces of steak. Wow we felt robbed and for that money we would expect great service w... View all feedback.
The vegan options were AMAZING! Thank you for offering so many possibilities. My wife and I enjoyed everything we ate. The Tofu Tacos were my personal favorite. The staff was friendly and prompt. Very recommend you try this place, even if you do not stay nearby. It's worth it.
First time to visit and not disappointed. Hubby had the Tacos Lt Dan and Seoul. I had the salad cases with Korean fried chickens. Excellent and will definitely go back.
When I look at Tapas, I like to try other things. This place had the taste really salty. With our depth of taste. The service was without intention. The price did not correspond to the quality of the service or food.
Very enjoyed this place, has a beautiful, laid back, hip, vibe. Located in a charming area, it offers delicious food with quality service, this place has everything for it. We had the trio salsa verde, marsala hummus, beef queso and tortilla chips) for beginners. It was fantastic. Then we enjoyed the Lump Crab Nachos, Thai Fried Chicken Wings and Caracara Lettuce Wraps. All these decisions were made. Our server, Gus, was very attentive and also about things. This place is a winner, check it out, I think you will agree.
We enjoyed a really nice dinner here several weeks ago! They have great options and the portions are pretty big. Some good vegan/vegetarian options but I do wish they were somewhat more accommodating with switching out meats/tofu or veggies. We really enjoyed the cauliflower and would definitely recommend this! Also really recommend the lettuce wraps. The artichoke cakes were OK but I found them quite lemony and wanted more spice.
