I first tried Zizzi in London and loved it. I was happy to see it in Dundrum shopping center. We had pizzas and a friend prawn and zucchini starter. The starter was ok, not oily, but you mostly feel the batter, not much of prawns. The pizzas were good, crust was thin but not dry which is good. The passion punch was really good and refreshing and not too sweet. Too bad I was too full to try dessert.. View all feedback.
If you haven't been yet you HAVE to go!!! Zizzi's is a new little Italian after opening in Dundrum and it is now my favorite restaurant at the moment without a doubt! It has a wide range of food all very reasonably priced and they've a decent drink selection also but what caught my attention was their Prosecco for €5.95 a glass and for a little bit extra I think it was €1.50 you can add passion fruit, strawberry or white peach purée type thing which makes it taste amazing!! It comes so well presented also! So I had that along with their massive dough balls and garlic butter which was so flavor some and I also shared the calamari which was surprisingly so fresh and cooked perfectly and so tasty! I then split a large margerita pizza and it was so fresh and light and just lovely!! Between my friend and I who also got the prosecco the total came to €40 and we were both stuffed! So for pretty much €20 a head we had a feast! it defiantly needs to be noted that you have to book to avoid disappointment!!
We would only give zizzi an average of 3.5. Even though there is a large variety on the menu, the food was not as great as it has been publicised to be by bloggers. However the service was excellent. Pizza was quite dry, needed to go down with a lot of water. We probably won't be back unless for a reason or a staff party
Zizzi's is one of my favourite places to eat in Dundrum. It's really reasonably priced, you can book a table and it's always busy so has a good atmosphere. I got the skinny chicken pizza and chocolate melt for dessert this evening. My friend for the chicken and prosciutto salad.
If your in Dundrum would definitely recommend dropping in here for food. It's got a pretty extensive menu and there was loads that I would liked to have tried. Went with the picante calzone and my partner went with the pizza. Both were really tasty and filling. The pizza was yum. Service was quick and efficient and staff were friendly. Will pop in again next time I'm in dundrum
A great addition to Dundrum's selection of restaurants!! Firstly, the menu is great with definitely something for everyone and a huge range of different pizzas and pastas! I decided to go for the pizza as it looked delicious coming out of the wood fired oven. It was a great choice but it was huge and I couldn't finish. Although it's extremely thin which does make it manageable. It was about €16 of my pizza and the same for the calzone. The calzone is huge also and really stuffed with toppings! We paid €45 for the 2 pizzas, a glass of wine and a beer- reasonable enough considering the amount of food. This place really met my expectations. Service was good- pretty casual. COME HUNGRY!
