We stumbled upon this restaurant on a rainy morning when we couldn't remember exactly where we were. We both ordered the sweet breakfast, which was fabulous. It came with a piece of toast and tea for two. I was pleasantly surprised by the warm service. Yippee! View all feedback.

After reading the glowing reviews, I must have been in the wrong place or perhaps my expectations were higher. The food was advertised as freshly homemade but tasted like it came out of a tin. The staff were unfriendly and the atmosphere felt like something out of the 1970s. This cafe should have stayed in the past, as it felt outdated and out of touch. View all feedback.
Very happy to recommend Tony’s Diner. Have eaten here many times. Food is always good and it’s pretty cheap too. It’s not a fancy place it’s pretty old fashioned and basic, but it is clean , warm and welcoming. My most recent meal on Saturday was a cheese and ham omelette and a cappuccino and I really enjoyed both.
Absolutely awful food! Macaroni chips with cheese wasn't even a micro one or attempted to be made fresh it was Tinned macaroni

Hidden away but useful to get plain fresh cooked food
I have been a patron, to this cafe for many years. The staff are friendly, funny, and attentive.., always on the go. It's a throwback, to when proper restaurants..., were proper restaurants. Whenever I visit Dundee.., it's the Only restaurant, I'll frequent.
