Kung Fu Chinese Takeaway - Dundee City

Myself and my girlfriend have been looking for our regular chinese restaurant to order from in dundee and we have found it. Food amazing, always hot! And great delivery time.

Having lived in china for about two years (most of my stay was in the southeast region of GuangZhou), I believe that I have acquired a taste to discerning food between fake Chinese and genuine Chinese food in Europe. Now living in Dundee, I am a recurring customer of the Chinese takeaway as it is from what I have experienced here, the only Chinese restaurant that actually serves genuine Chinese food. To top it off, it is very cheap. There are however two drawbacks to this place. The first one is that the place itself doesn 't look good (no one eats there for a reason). The second one is that they should include more rice in their meals (maybe just use bigger boxes). The sauce (with other ingredients based on your order) and rice are in two separate containers, and every time I order from there, I end up having to cook some rice myself as I do not have enough to use up all the sauce (on the plus side it provides leftovers). Apart from that, great quality, cheap price, what 's not to love?

I had placed an order for chefs special Szechuan and I received chicken Szechuan . I even repeated this when I collected but got an argument when I queried this, because I said it included chicken, why would I say special chicken!!. The chicken Szechuan wasn 't even close to the ones I 've tasted before. Order with absolutely accuracy or be warned!!

One hour waiting for a simple mea paid 25£ l??this is astoinishing and embarassing! would never order again to them. never ever. TERRIBLE: AVOID!!!!!

Waiting time over an hour. Order arrived incomplete. Chips greasy and soggy. Chicken tough and fatty. Egg fried rice sickly. Definitely had far better takeaways in Dundee than this mandarin garden much much better. Only tried this one as mandarin garden were shut this week.
