Great bar for a bit of karaoke and reasonable prices on drinks, service is a bit slow but relaxed and festive atmosphere with friendly staff.

Decades Retro bar is now in Union Street,the old Rendezvous Bar premises.It's a sparsely decorated bar,some posters,basic table and chairs,there is a small dance floor.The night we were there,a covers group were playing decent music but very loud for the size of the...venue.The cellar type pub has friendly and efficient staff.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Good music. But there is one problem there was bird poo on the bar. UNACCEPTABLE. Do not recommend. Avoid at all costs.

The place caught our eye because of the decoration of a retro club. The shame was the food was awful and they couldn't even make a Caesars' salad Very disappointed, waste of money.

Stopped here Saturday September as I saw board outside with OAP meals at which included tea or coffee with meal. We were served by a friendly young lass Courtney who was very friendly and diligent with service, we ordered the fish and chips...with peas and the chef's own tartare sauce. The meal arrived very shortly which was piping hot and the fish was that fresh I thought it was going to make a pass at my wife, a lovely big pot of tea also arrived with meal. I paid attention to other meals which were being served from the main menu and I can honestly say no one would be leaving her feeling hungry. The premises clean and tidy toilets also clean. Will be back here again as the food was excellent, also odd years ago we had our wedding reception here so do have a soft spot for premises that have been brightened up with new owners.
