The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere with a casual and unpretentious feel. The decor is funny and adds to the overall charm. It is managed by Master Sommelier Christopher Bates, who offers a fantastic selection of wine and beer. The carrot dog and onion rings were both excellent, especially when paired with a Finger Lakes Riesling from the wine list. View all feedback.

I was so excited to try this place because of the Carrot Veggie dog I had in another restaurant on the ground. at flx they get a carrot cut in 1/2 and not that has much taste, besides the overpriced toppings. they can all sorts of toppings for what like a terrible amount for just toppings. even though they get a lot of pommes, they were very fat. the calorie splurge on the oreo stout milkshake was worth it and the be... The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and features a casual dining experience with unpretentious and fun decor. I was eagerly anticipating trying this restaurant because of the delicious carrot veggie dog I had at another place. However, at FLX, the carrot dog was disappointing as it lacked flavor and was overpriced with toppings. There was a wide variety of toppings available, but they seemed expensive for what they were. The fries that came with the meal were greasy. The highlight of the meal was the indulgent Oreo Stout milkshake, which was worth the calorie splurge and was the standout dish on the menu.
During our last visit, we were informed that everything is cooked in lard. Unsure if this is still true, but we opted to dine at another restaurant as a result.
I was eager to give this restaurant a try after loving the carrot veggie dog at another restaurant upstate. However, at FLX, the carrot was sliced in half and lacked flavor, despite the pricey toppings. You can add a variety of toppings for what feels like a steep price. The fries were plentiful but extremely greasy. The Oreo Stout milkshake was a calorie splurge but definitely the highlight of the meal.
Great atmosphere, casual eating, unpretentious, funny decor. run by master sommelier christopher bates, with an incredible wine and beer selection. the carrot dog and the woofer rings were excellent, with finger lakes riesling from the hahn.
