I went to this restaurant with friends for breakfast. The menu had a great variety of options to choose from. The prices were very reasonable and the portions were quite large. Our food was served promptly and it was all hot and fresh. View all feedback.
What Peter N doesn't like about The Valley Charcoal:
I had the worst toasted fried egg sandwich ever. It was made with one egg (prolly small size) that barely covered 2/3 of the bread. The food cost was probably no more than 20 cents. I paid $5.95. To say the least, I was not impressed. View all feedback.
What a nice place the food was very very good had a good choice the staff you couldnt ask for better keep up the good work
My favourite go to fast food restaurant in Dundas...of course we go to others, BUT, Valley Charcoal started out in the little plaza at King and York intersection, where Tim Horton's now is....been a long time customer!!
The food was very good; I especially liked the fresh and abundant vegetable salad; a little greasy the burger though and too much onions in the perogies meal. Other than that we enjoy the simplicity and the quietness of the place. Must say you have to pay in cash!

Although we did not order the breakfast it looked good from what we saw on other customers' tables . The lunch was not that great . The hamburgers are made with cheap factory premade patties that have a weird texture and taste . The buns are simply not made to hold the burger and the dressings . The buns simply fall apart so that you end up with a mess on your hands and on your plate . We may give it a try for breakfast another time . Hopefully breakfast will be better .
