Eno' Grill - Dundalk

Overall the food was bland and didn't taste very fresh. Service was friendly and attentive. I ordered the fritto misto, and a salad as a starter. The fritto misto portion was very small, the batter was doughy and greasy and the fish didn't taste very fresh. Most of the space on the plate was taken up by a side salad. I wouldn't have ordered the salad as a starter if I was told my main came with a side salad, I don't believe the menu stated this but I'm open to correction as I may have missed this. I feel the server taking my order should have noted this. My partner had the salmon which similarly didn't taste very fresh and was quite flavourless. It was a very expensive meal for what we got.

My wife and I have been here on many occasions.This recent visit was a very positive experience.The food and bottle of wine were excellent.The service was good and the staff friendly and efficent.We will be back soon.

Booking withte januar for Saturday 2. feb on open table for 8.30 . When we arrived, we found that the restaurant has been closed since Wednesday, but no one yet taught to tell us that or to cancel our booking. I had booked it for a birthday meal arranged babysitter and all so we have a nice nite and then find out when we arrived, it is closed I was over annoying. simply ruined whole nite all because someone does not disturb to lift the phone or send email to inform us about the situation!

Service was ok, staff very nice. the food was bland and badly cooked. chicken wings had soft, healthy fat. bruschetta the standard tomato was ok, but the cheese version was terrible. thick plate of cold cheese with a sweet, generic sauce. the brot was cold. the pizzas were ok, but without taste. badly seasoned. the main thing of seafood cannelloni was terrible. a pool of pink mud. the salat was limp and looked like it had not been dressed for lunch at lunchtime! desserts were shockingly bad. the affogato was made with blandeis and the crumbs drowned in the coffee. the sunflower was something that would produce her 10 years old with a few flax queezy ice cream and picked cream...again, bland and sloppy. Finally, the pear tea was pale, soggy, tasteless. that's the third time we ate there and say, "Maybe it was a night." It seems everyone at night is free. it was the birthday of our sohne, and I had stated this during the booking, but it was not pointed out at all. there was a billing mix at the end that the personal treated well. so no problems there. all said a terrible experience, a birthday meal. will not go back and could not advise anyone else, either. in view of our experience. the menu needs an overhaul...maybe would help to remove things like chicken wings from an italian. cooking must be significantly improved. the ambiente is good, decor ok, personal friendly.

Our booking was for 9 o'clock on Friday night and a few members of our table were a few minutes too late. after we have always fucked our sales staff to stop our eating. this was very disappointing, as eating was really good and it was regrettable that we had not had enough time to enjoy it. I just felt it took away from all the experience in the night as it just came across the staff, just wanted to be out there at 10 o'clock.
