What User doesn't like about The Break:
Had dinner for two midweek. Had not booked but wasent a problem. Lots of choices on the menu. Service was excellent. Very attentive staff. I had the steak which was lovely but apart from that everything else was fairly average. Hot seafood platter with its different variety of fish all tasted of garlic butter. Too pricey for the quality of food served! View all feedback. What User likes about The Break:
We stopped by for a coffee and cake today in this wonderful coffee shop. Cannot fault the friendly service and the quaint surroundings. Would recommend to a friend View all feedback.

The same menu as 1988...and eat as well/bad as at the time! decent steak, decent sampi, decent huh, not big stroganof, predictable curries
Had a nice meal tonight. hot seafood plate was delicious with a baked kartoffel. excellent quality, value and service. I look forward to the next meal there.

Some customers were displeased with their table location and food quality, while others praised the friendly staff and delicious dishes. Overall, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, with some dishes receiving high praise and others falling short. Despite some negative aspects, many customers enjoyed their visit and would return for another meal. The bar in Blackrock Dundalk is especially commended for its friendly service and lovely meals. The cafe is noted for good coffee and tasty scones, providing a nice place for a quick bite.
