Great coffee, comfy chairs, and... read more Java World is one of the local hangouts for just about everyone, from hard-hat workers to students to young mothers to retirees. Great coffee, comfy chairs, and art on the wall from members of the Cowichan Valley Arts Council, so often a cut about the usual. And the goodies! Best chocolate chip cookies in the Cowichan Valley, and the little breakfast breads--cakes, really--are sublime. Great muffins, too, but I've never had the sandwiches. I bet they're good as well. Their blended drinks as well as coffee are all special, too.
