Rebels Backyard Grill - Duncan
Rebels Backyard Grill
Description
Tucked-away and deceptively unassuming, this local spot delivers elevated comfort food—huge, perfectly cooked burgers, brisket, calamari, pasta and standout sides—plus beautifully presented desserts. The menu is wide-ranging and portions generous; the interior is clean and cozy with a sports-bar feel. Staff are generally friendly, though service can feel reserved at times. Prices are reasonable to slightly above average. Ideal for casual lunch dates, families and groups — don’t be put off by the modest exterior; the kitchen consistently impresses.

The atmosphere is fantastic, the menu is diverse, and the customer service is excellent. While the venue is designed to be a great sports bar, it currently doesn't serve alcohol. I would definitely return for beer and wings once that's available. Please keep us informed on any updates regarding this!
One of the best burgers I've ever had! This place is truly fantastic for a meal. I took my husband with me, and although he was a bit skeptical about the exterior, I assured him the burgers were worth it. He was pleasantly surprised by how delicious they were. The fries are excellent, too! Don't let the outside deter you; the food is incredible!
Rebels Backyard Grill (name for local high school) is a place where you can easily drive and not notice, but has surprisingly good food. I was just once, but that was a good experience. The menu is not the typical sandwiches and frits type of menu that you usually expect in a restaurant of this nature. You have some nice dishes. Prices are not cheap, but not bad. I had a brisket sandwich. It was thinly shaved brisket with au jus sauce. It was served with a generous portion of frits. The sandwich was stacked high with meat. It was very good. The interior is clean and comfortable. I definitely intend to eat a habit here!
To top it off, we were treated to some beautifully presented cheesecake with strawberries and whipped cream. Overall, my only minor complaint would be the prices, which seemed to be a dollar or two higher than I would prefer. While this isn't a deal breaker, it might prevent me from visiting as often as I’d like. All in all, this was a wonderful little spot for a lunch date amidst a hectic day.
