Mabie House Bar Restaurant

While on vacation in the area, our hosts suggested we dine at Mabie House Hotel, and we were pleased with our experience. The staff was friendly, the food was fantastic, and we found it to be great value. The restaurant had a lively atmosphere with many families enjoying themselves. For our meal, we had mussels as a main and a delicious salmon dish from the specials menu. We also indulged in some extraordinary sundaes, including a freshly made sticky toffee pudding and a mint choc chip aero one. Overall, we had a wonderful evening and thank everyone at the restaurant for their hospitality.

What a stunning location the evening meal was exceptional, I had the roast beef and my husband the steak pie and all the staff were amazing. Couldn’t do enough for us! We had our blind dog and the staff couldn't do enough for us, she's on a bland diet and prescription diet which she wasnt fussy on and the chap at breakfast gave her a wee bowl of scrambled egg(kept her quiet as does bark for human food). The table in Reception was already set out for us coming down for breakfast. Had the best night sleep in ages and Basil the parrot was gorgeous chatting away, the grounds are breathtaking too, very quick at answering emails too didnt catch everyones name but Phillipa very helpful and friendly

Usually only here for weddings so was very nice to enjoy a meal in the hotel. Lovely relaxing venue with excellent service and food.

The Mabie hotel is a cozy and inviting establishment, managed by a remarkable and skilled family who are dedicated to their business. Many guests return time and time again, which speaks volumes. The service and cuisine have been impeccable during every visit we have made, and we have nothing but positive things to say about this hotel. We hope for continued success for the Mabie hotel and look forward to visiting again soon.
