During our stay at the hotel for a few nights, we had originally planned to dine out one night and cook in the other. However, we changed our plans after trying Ian's appetizers! The entire meal was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection, with a nice touch of sweetness. The kitchen garden was impressive and added to the overall experience. A true hidden gem of a restaurant.

You won't find better food in Scotland! This restaurant is situated in a stunning, peaceful rural setting with fantastic walking trails. The rooms are very comfortable and the customer service is friendly.

The famous chef Ian Mac Andrew is still at the peak of his skills. He was ahead of his time by a decade. We dined at his restaurant for four nights in a row, and each meal was a delight for the taste buds. Jane Mac Andrew and Daniel provided attentive service without being intrusive, and their calm demeanor was appreciated. I would definitely return without hesitation.

Been a while since our last visit . Celebrating our wedding anniversary. Only one place to go . Warmly welcomed . COVID measures in place . Dinner was , as always , FABULOUS . The flavours in every mouthful , amazing . Ian , you...do a fabulous job . And the breakfast is every bit as good ! Hope it won’t be as long until we visit again .
