Cafe Racer Dumaguete - Dumaguete City

Everything is good, food and prices and you can't complain about the service since they have none, worst wait staff of any restaurant I have been in Dumaguete, one brings you the menu then you have to wave another one to bring you a drink then if your lucky you can get someone to take your order, then they go mess with the computer, once you get your food then you have to get someone to bring your check again they have to go to the computer while you wait, another to take your money and a different one will bring your change after a long wait, sad to say,

After eating at Lantaw we visited cafe racer and had some drinks... beers for an E (excellent)... The place is absolutely cool!!! Highly recommended...

First of all, the food is good and well worth the price. Good variety and servings are plentiful.But, the service is well below average. Takes forever to get a refreshment when you arrive and hardly worth your time to try and order a second drink. Same as getting the bill. 15 to 20 minutes is the norm. The system seems to be whoever walks past is who your server might be. No one ever comes back to your table to see if you want anything else. Seems no one person is responsible for taking care of your table. I've had many visits there since they opened and kept hoping the service would improve. Not so...

We had a late lunch about1:30. What seemed odd was the place was empty yet the tables hadn't been cleared yet. We were the only ones in there but we had to wait for a table while they cleaned it. We both had a cheeseburger which is what we had a taste for. They were actually quite good, we were pleasantly surprised. An item on the menu which I never expected to see again was a "corn-dog". That definitely caught my eye. So I just had to order one just to see. It was also quite good. Definitely not health food but what the heck. It's a little bit too much of a bar atmosphere to suit us but we will go again, and again after the lunch crowd is gone.

We were there twice recently after 1:30pm. The first time there were only a couple tables occupied yet service was slow-especially after we had our food, the wait staff seems to disappear. I don't know where they go.Next time we were there with another couple same time and even he commented how slow the service was
