Tucked in Howell Shipping Center Plaza, White Windmill is a cozy, jazz-tinged bakery-café known for freshly baked pastries, creative waffles and strong coffee. Experiences vary: some applaud friendly service and cakes, while others cite high prices, stingy condiments, inconsistent portions and occasional curt staff. Weekend crowds are common and there’s a 30% discount on older pastries—great for dessert seekers but expect mixed service and value.

Was Anonym at White Windmill a mag?
The food and drinks are a bit pricey, so you might anticipate even higher prices for coffee and baked goods at a Starbucks level. However, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about White Windmill:
I really wanted to enjoy this place as much as I do the other White Windmills, but unfortunately, it fell short. They serve their Americanos only two-thirds full, which is surprising because I think most people who order them usually like to have some room for cream. As for the cream bread, it only has cream between certain slices; if you take the first two slices, you'll find there's no cream between the second and... View all feedback.

I really wanted to enjoy this place as much as I do the other White Windmills, but unfortunately, it fell short. They serve their Americanos only two-thirds full, which is surprising because I think most people who order them usually like to have some room for cream. As for the cream bread, it only has cream between certain slices; if you take the first two slices, you'll find there's no cream between the second and third. The maize bread was predominantly flour and lacked a corn flavor. The ice/snow bingsoo was decent, but not amazing enough to warrant a return visit. Overall, this was my least favorite experience at White Windmill, and it feels quite different from the others.

II. **Service**: The staff is friendly and welcoming. III. **Quality**: The pastries are freshly baked every day. If you purchase pastries that have been on display for a while, you can enjoy a 30% discount. I appreciate this practice as it reflects their commitment to serving only the freshest items. Bought a Mocha Butter Cream Cake for my Dads birthday, and it was good. Cute little place. Will have to come back to try their drinks next time since I was in a hurry to just buy the cake
