I love Pizza Luce and it's my favorite place back in the Twin Cities. But unfortunately, the Pizza Luce in Duluth was not a good experience. It took a LONG time before I got my pizza. I was in there for about 2 hours... by the time I got my pizza, I was already pretty much done with my salad and my drink. At that point, I lost my appetite. There was no apology for the long wait time. Not only that, I felt kind of sick the next morning. I won't be coming to this Pizza Luce anymore.
Reserved a space for a group of 20 and it was ready for us when we arrived. Service was awesome. I think we had 8 pizzas and only took home with 3 or 4 pieces. The two that required gluten free said it was the best pizza they ever had.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was incredibly fast, yet the quality of the food remained high. Our server, Maida, provided excellent recommendations for both the menu and beer, and he hit the mark perfectly. The portion sizes were just right, and the atmosphere was welcoming—classy, yet relaxed. The food was delicious, and I will definitely return when I'm back in town.

The restaurant offers an excellent variety of gluten-free choices, and the spinach and artichoke dip was incredible! It was the best meal we enjoyed during our entire weekend in Duluth. Our server was friendly, enthusiastic, and well-informed about allergens and substitutions.
