We ordered 2 pu... read more I was in the Duluth area and my son was craving bbq so we tried this place out. It's located in the very back but the signage is easy to locate. We ordered 2 pulled pork sandwiches and half rack of ribs. Sides we had Mac and cheese, baked beans and pasta salad. The Mac and cheese had serious cheese pull. The ribs were a little dry but I had no sauce cause my kiddo used it all for his pulled pork. Service was great and love supporting small businesses. There are tables to sit at but we took it back to our hotel.

However, our order took over 45 minutes to be served, which seemed odd for a BBQ restaurant, especially since we were the only customers at that time. The ribs, priced at $45, were just okay—perhaps my hunger made them seem better than they were. They were dry and tough, nothing worth raving about. Unfortunately, the pulled pork and potato salad were practically inedible. The mac and cheese was puzzling as well; they brought us two different servings. The first was delicious, but the second looked and tasted like it came from a boxed mix. Honestly, I'm not sure what to make of this place; something just didn't feel right. If they were out of certain items, I wish they had communicated that. For me, integrity and standing by your product are essential, and there was no effort made to explain the long wait or to offer a solution when things weren’t up to par. Spending $84 on substandard food feels unjustified. We won’t be returning.
