However, our order took over 45 minutes to be served, which seemed odd for a BBQ restaurant, especially since we were the only customers at that time. The ribs, priced at $45, were just okay—perhaps my hunger made them seem better than they were. They were dry and tough, nothing worth raving about. Unfortunately, the pulled pork and potato salad were practically inedible. The mac and cheese was puzzling as well; they brought us two different servings. The first was delicious, but the second looked and tasted like it came from a boxed mix. Honestly, I'm not sure what to make of this place; something just didn't feel right. If they were out of certain items, I wish they had communicated that. For me, integrity and standing by your product are essential, and there was no effort made to explain the long wait or to offer a solution when things weren’t up to par. Spending $84 on substandard food feels unjustified. We won’t be returning.

We were p... read more Charming local gem with incredible food in an unexpected location! While spending the long weekend in Duluth, we discovered this barbecue spot online. We were pleasantly surprised to find it tucked away in the back of an Elks Lodge, but it turned out to be a great choice. The food was exceptional, and the servers were friendly and welcoming. It’s clear this is a wonderful small business that we’ll be sure to visit again on our next trip. Plus, it was a refreshing change in price compared to some of the more touristy restaurants in Duluth. The pulled pork was so tasty that it probably didn't even need the BBQ sauce!
