My husband and I held our rehearsal dinner at The Barrel Room earlier this month, and we were extremely pleased with the exceptional service provided by Tom, Marci, and their team. They were incredibly accommodating during the planning stages of our event, and when we needed to offer a few guests additional meal options on the day of the event, the team was flexible and allowed us to order directly from the menu. The meal options were not only affordable but also delicious and served promptly. I would highly recommend hosting an event at The Barrel Room!

Intimate bar area in the Fitgers facility. I went here after looking through Yelp to find somewhere that had local beer and something to eat. Unfortunately I didn't realize that the Barrel Room and the larger Fitger's Brewhouse directly across the hall were operated independently until I'd already sat down and ordered a drink. In the Barrel Room, there is only a minimal food menu, with the options limited to pretty much just appetizers and pizza. Maybe I was just lazy, or maybe I liked the ambiance in the Barrel Room, but I decided to stay put. I opted for the Korean Street Pizza which had pulled pork, onions, and jalapeño peppers. Unfortunately the pizza was WAY over cheesed, it had probably twice as much as it should have. I ended up pulling off a lot of the cheese and some of the jalapeños.

A charming bar that offers a peaceful ambiance on Sunday evenings. The staff is welcoming, and there's a good variety of beer and cider to choose from. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the comfortable chairs and couch provide a perfect place to enjoy a drink while reading a book. It was precisely what I was looking for.

We stopped in to pick up pizzas to take back up to our rooms. I had an NA beer, Two Roots. Great! One friend had a gimlet, with thyme. The next night he had a similar gimlet, with basil. We came in on Fri night of the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon, last weekend in Jan, 2023. It was busy, but still pleasant. The pizzas were delicious, also one sausage, one mushroom and green olive hand tossed crust.
