This is definitely one of the best ABEs! We were seated right when we walked in with no wait. The restaurant is large, and there is a substantial covered patio outside. Our server was fast and efficient. I had the Napoleon Temptation with scrambled eggs and bacon. Super delicious! Go early on Saturdays. We got there before 10, when we left around 11:30, it was packed. Join the waitlist on their website, it works! View all feedback.
What Sunny Day doesn't like about Another Broken Egg Cafe:
Was on vacation and a family member suggested we try this restaurant for a great breakfast. I appreciated the 2 girls at the front counters hospitality and we were seated right away. All of the waiters were friendly. The decor was simple other guests seemed happy. I ordered an omelet called 'Hey Lucy ' with home fries and an English Muffin. The plate was served warm but the omelet was overcooked and tasteless. The ho... View all feedback.
Additionally, I was not made aware of the limitations regarding the "birthday pancakes." Given my experience, it’s unlikely I’ll return, especially since we had a similar issue during my wife’s birthday in January. She ordered pancakes with mixed berries, but they only managed to get the order right after the first batch of dark pancakes didn’t meet her expectations. Ideally, pancakes should come out golden brown, not dark and uninviting.
Once our drinks arrived, our toddler accidentally spilled some water. The waitress provided a stack of napkins but didn’t offer any assistance with the clean-up. She didn’t check in on us afterward or update us on our order. To make matters worse, we waited about 45 minutes for our food while our toddlers grew hungry, restless, and started to cry. The room was uncomfortably warm, adding to the overall stress of the situation. Throughout our visit, I noticed that the front-of-house manager did not stop by to see how we were doing, despite the evident chaos in the kitchen, as suggested by various staff comments. Other customers were also clearly facing long wait times. The hostesses appeared overwhelmed and confused, frequently huddled together and unsure of how to address customer concerns. While we waited, I took the initiative to ask one of the hostesses about booster seats. She could only suggest one type, which wasn’t appropriate for our children. The better options were located near the restrooms, but we weren’t made aware of those. By the time our food finally arrived, we were so frazzled that it was difficult to enjoy it. Overall, poor management and a lack of attentiveness from the staff led to a frustrating dining experience. I hope they can make improvements in the future, as they certainly have potential.
I had been really looking forward to trying this restaurant, so we decided to choose it for my birthday brunch. The food and service far exceeded our expectations! Both of our entrees were fantastic—I had the seasonal Piccata Benedict, and it was truly delicious. Our server, Shawn, was exceptionally friendly and attentive. I also loved the coffee cups they used; at the moment, they serve the best coffee of all my favorite brunch spots. When my husband wanted to buy one as a birthday gift for me, they kindly gave it to us for free. The menu offers a great mix of classic dishes and more adventurous options, ensuring there's something for everyone. I appreciate that they have a pet-friendly patio, so we look forward to bringing our cavapoo with us this summer for breakfast and brunch! I'm so glad we finally had the chance to experience Another Broken Egg; we've found a place that our whole family will enjoy!
This is certainly one of the best ABEs! We were seated right away without any wait. The restaurant has a roomy layout, featuring a large covered patio outside. Our server was prompt and efficient. I also ordered a Bloody Mary cocktail, but it had way too much Tabasco sauce, making it anything but refreshing. My husband and I were both disappointed with our breakfast and decided that we wouldn't return.
