Meat Love Burger & Bar - Duisburg

Reserved a table a week in advance, upon arrival none of the staff even looked at us despite asking for help ignored us completely for 20 minutes until eventually I tapped one waitress on the shoulder and asked for our table... we was then sent outside to wait even more and to find out they hadn't made the reservation. We was then offered to share with another group of (generous) customers but 2 more guests were coming so we refused as the table was too small. Upon seating we was asked what we want to eat (20 mins later) BEFORE we got the menu. We ordered waited an hour for one burger without tomato (obviously it had tomatoes on it when it arrived) and a starter and the staff had forgot the side dish (french fries) with our meal which we had to wait a further 20 minutes for. We had to wait 10 more minutes for a knife and fork. As for the burger it was way overdone (not medium at all) but cold in the middle and incredibly dry which seems like it was on the serving hatch too long. When our guests arrived they ordered their food and shortly later was asked if they want to pay...we hadn't received the food nor was going to for a further 25 mins.Staff was infront of us drinking and smoking in plain view (not good for asthmatics) baring in mind he was touching drinks and food whilst doing so, Shouting and swearing during service (infront of young children) And then put out their cigarettes in an ashtray a few cm away from were we was sat.Upon asking for the bill we said this feedback about the wait and service (not the food) to the waitress who reported to the owner who came to meet us and first words that came out of his mouth was a very polite "what do you want free food or what?" Having discussed our issues it came to knowledge that we wasn't the only group who had these problems and 6 groups walked out for almost identical reasons. He said regarding staffing issues he said "I put on 9 staff what more can I do" manners and acknowledgement cost nothing and giving a menu and receiving a knife and fork for food isn't exactly rocket science. If you decide to complain don't expect it to go far...we never received an apology and all of our issues were being directed back at us as if it was all normal. We heard about another group during this night who refused to pay for 80 minute wait for food.Summary:. Overpriced burger which will most likely be cooked wrong or completely wrong order. Literally no customer service skills or basic waitressing skills. Missing orders apparently common. Waiting times will be more than an hour and will not come out at the same time if ordering for more than 1 person. Poor management skills causing no organisation. Non-existent customer service (apart from a courtesy drink each at the end). Medium cooked burgers as advertised at around 9.90 coming to you cold and cooked incorrectlyIf you want a burger in duisburg neudorf...get a pizza it's really not worth the wait.

Best burgers in the world. Juicy, tender, delicious meat; crispy bacon, spicy jalapeño (give a kick); bun is fluffy on the inside and 2 on the outside, although after a few bites, the succulent juices of the paddy moisten the bun, as if dipped in meat sauce.

I only went for an international student meeting, the atmosphere of the place is great!

Nice place to get a drink and grab a burger. While not the best burgers of all time they are thoroughly enjoyable! The patty was almost completely well done (prefer a little red on the inside) but the sauce was very good. The burgers are of medium size. I also tried a burger with mango but didn't like it. Although I liked the mange didn't fit well with the arugula. Side orders are huge and very tasty. Price was reasonable, payed 20€ for a burger with chili con carne fries and a large (0.5) softdrink.
